Exploring our Connected World…
I am a sociologist, educator, and scholar-activist whose work explores how people, objects, information, culture and ideas move across borders and shape our world. Drawing on perspectives from global political economy, gender studies, and Africana studies, my current scholarship focuses on tourism, migration, diasporas and global inequality. Through research, teaching, and storytelling, I seek to deepen understanding, foster dialogue, and contribute to a more equitable world.
